My path has been challenging and amazing, and for that I am truly thankful and blessed. Throughout life I seem to reinvent myself constantly, trying to stay true to my soul. I am a marine biologist that has worked in many different environments protecting life throughout. I have owned a jewelry store, worked in the environmental and fisheries field as a director for marine endangered species protection, worked in the restaurant business and have always volunteered with various animal rescues and rehabilitation groups.
I teach Vinyasa flow yoga suitable for level I and II yogis. I enjoy introducing yoga to beginners, individuals wanting to learn more about what yoga has to offer. Yoga can be enjoyable to all who are willing to try.
Yoga is for every body shape, ability, size, race, sex. My practice fully embraces openness, and I would be honored to introduce this to you.
I incorporate a combination of fun, balance and peace into my classes. I have battled with anxieties, depression and chronic pain throughout my life, but through yoga, discovered the missing and essential part of my healing process. I hope to show others who may be dealing with chronic physical and emotional pain how yoga can transform bodies and help find their personal truth.
I am a proud to say I am an honorably discharge U.S. veteran that served my country for three years. My husband and I have two rescued dogs, foster dog and rescued African Grey parrot. When not practicing yoga, I spend time enjoying nature, most particularly our precious water resources. My favorite pastime is scuba diving. I have volunteered most of my life with various animal rescue organizations and continue to do so today.
